Showing up magic happens

Today I showed up for my much longed for hour. My fingers flew. My tongue hummed. Magic happened. Showing up, I know more than ever, transcends inspiration.

Too true. Showing up counts for more than three quarters of the effort, especially for one who has to care for a tiny being who needs you so much of the time. Congratulations.

thanks Elizabeth, the thing is now I am hungry for the time, I spend so much waking time thinking about when I will write it is ridiculous, but on the other hand I am mentally writing ( ironing out things before I even show up really saves time)...

Oh GG I missed this post! it's just like one I did recently - photos of me getting back to my children's book - as if I needed to record my 'showing up' so I'd believe it myself - it did help... I went off a few days after that and spent 4 hours researching lighthouses especially... Not far off finishing now. Oh the near bliss. Good luck. If I was close I'd come and babysit.
